nassau excursions???

Has anyone done the segway tour in Nassau???

We did the Bahama Segway Tour and loved it! The tour was not through Disney but we did not have any problems at all. The youngest in our party was 8 and the oldest was 80 and every single one of us would do it again.

Make sure you don't do the city tour as that is just riding around on sidewalks. We did the tour where they take you out on nature trails and then over to the beach. The segways were easy to learn how to ride and the tour guides did a great job of giving us some of the history of the island, letting us pick out conch shells to take home, and giving us a beach break.

I think this sounds like the same one we are doing. So glad she asked this question. We do however have our Grandmother going with us and is wanting to ride along while we do the Segway. Did you notice anyone else doing this? I know that she could do it if she tried and would love it but, she is so not willing

The shelter where "grandma" could sit would not be very comfortable and she wouldn't get to see anything but the initial training. If it were me, I would encourage grandma to stay on the boat if she does not want to ride the Segway.

Having said that both our grandma and grandpa loved this excursion and were so glad they did it. It was extremely easy to learn and it was something they could do to keep up with the grandkids without getting tired.

thanks so much....i think we have decided to "surprise" Gram with a lil stand up adventure....what is the worst that can happen???? oh no, shouldn't go there i guess
