I just noticed a Port Adventure for Nassau that I haven't seen before so I'm thinking it may be a newer offering? Would anyone be able to provide information on the Nassau Backstage Local Flavors with Beach Break (N300)? Thank you!

I just saw this too when looking for something different to do in Nassau, I'm interested as well if anyone has done this excursion.

This tour (or slightly modified) is offered by Holland America, Carnival, through Viator/ TripAdvisor. Mixed ratings.

For those interested in some time at a beach in Nassau and would like to be escorted around with some nibbles, this might be a good option.

Here’s Holland’s description.

The DCL version may be a good way to see some of Nassau, escorted, sample some food and history - and get an hour of beach time in beautiful Bahamian water.

Any update on this tour a year later? I'm looking at it for March, but need to know if it's a walking tour or if you are shuttled from place to place.

We ended up not doing the tour and instead just went off the ship for a bit to the Pirates of Nassau Museum, John Watling's Distillery and then a bit of shopping in the port. We were on a 3 night so we had a bit of a time crunch with the Royal Gathering in the morning and then the Royal Court Royal Tea that afternoon so it was best for us to just go at our own pace.

We did this in November on the Fantasy (since we had been to Nassau many times previously). You board a mini bus and they drive you to the rum cake factory, a ceviche place near Paradise Island, the Queens Staircase, John Watling's rum factory, another place (had teas and other things for sale) and then brought us to the beach near Baha Mar. There were umbrellas and chairs for rent at the beach but you're only there for about an hour and a half so...

I am also looking for some reviews on this excursion. Has anyone taken this and willing to share their experience or additional details? Thanks
