We're heading to Franklin, TN from Kentucky this weekend for a soccer tournament. We just got this emailed to us... http://www.scrippsmedia.com/newschannel5/news/3rd-Closure-Set-For-Fast-Fix-8-Project-326542061.html. I wish they would put in mile markers or a map. I can't quite picture where this is going to affect us (if at all).

Maybe from the 208-210MM on I40 (84-82mm on I65)?

We should be past that point by 8pm Friday, but coming home Sunday (time TBD). I guess we can take 65N to 40E to 24W back to 65N or 65N to 440W to 40E to 65N? I think the first would be better.

It sounds like exit 209-210 will be closed.

From Franklin, you can take 65n to 440e to 40e. Take exit 215b to Briley Parkway (155) north going toward OpryMills then merge on 65. If you go that route, you should bypass a lot of traffic.

Depending on what part of Franklin you're in, you might want to take highway 96e east or 840e to 24. Then take 24 to 40e to Briley.

We'll be west of downtown Franklin, so 65N looks good from there, it's just trying to figure out the best way around Nashville. I'm usually a "straight through" kind of guy (avoid bypasses), but if a major road is shut down, I'd rather avoid the area.
