They say everything is bigger in Texas - and if you've ever been to this race you know the traffic jam is huge! Haven't won any tickets yet so I guess I'll be watching Jeff get his first Texas win from home - bummer!
So there is a 10 way tie for drivers with the most wins here - 1 each. Gotta wonder if maybe we'll finally get a repeat winner and who it might be -- Jr, Sadler, Biffle, Edwards, or Martin. Or will we have different winner #11 - Gordon, Stewart or maybe Kyle Busch
Qualifying is Friday 3:40PM Daytona (Eastern) time. Picks must be posted prior to the start of qualifying.
Drivers attempting the race who are not in the top 35 in owners points
#4-Scott Wimmer
#32-Travis Kvapil
#34-Chad Caffin
#40-Dave Stremme
#43-Bobby Labonte [CH1]
#44-Terry Labonte [CH2]
#49-Brent Sherman
#51-Mike Garvey
#61-Kevin Lepage
#78-Kenny Wallace
#92-Chad Blount
#95-Stanton Barrett
[CH] has champ prov to use if needed
Terry Labonte will be driving the Hendrick Motorsports #44 - probably with Kellogg's on the hood - so we got Bobby in the 43 with General Mills and Terry with Kelloggs - Labonte Brothers battle of the Breakfast cereals
My picks:
1. #24 - Jeff Gordon (this is it!)
2. #5 - Kyle Busch (just like the kid)
3. #31 - Jeff Burton (he and RCR doing pretty good, he's won here before)
4. #38 - Elliott Sadler (only Ford I'd like to see in VL)
5. #20 - Tony Stewart (back to back would be something)
Spare - 48 - Jimmie Johnson
Good luck All
