Nascar cheating?

It seems the gray area is where they try to get each car better.
They do say.

"if you aint cheatin then you are cheatin yourself".

I have heard alot of ways to punish the guys 9,17 and 55.
48 crew chief lost 4 weeks last year but they he still won two of those races so that did not work.

I guess you pull the car and make them use the backup car and start at the back of the race. I don't like th idea of sending the guy home, Imagine if they sent Junior home with the sea of red at tracks!!!!!

What are dis Nascar fans thinking about this?

Their best bet would be to take away a significant amount of Driver and Owner points. The points are were they make a huge amount of money and if Nascar took away enough points for each offence to make it hard for them to qualify for the chase then drivers and teams would be less likely to cheat. It would have to be a large amount of points though. 5 or 10 points wouldn't cut it.

You know, I am a big NASCAR fan, and used to look forward to and watch races from start to finish. Now, I am still a fan, but I can't even stay awake for an entire race. I don't know if I am just losing interest or if it really is more boring.

We call that our NASCAR nap! I used to watch, but don't think I watched more than 20 minutes all season last year. I don't like the whole Chase format.

Anyhow, back to the OP's question, it would only take them pulling the driver once or twice before they'd all get the picture. If NASCAR wants their rules taken seriously, then they need to pull the team from a race.
