Narnia walk-thru at MGM

Do they sell any Narnia stuffed toys did you happen to notice??
My DD is obsessed with this book and movie!

I wonder how long they are keeping that attraction going? We are going in June and I know my 9 and 7 year old would get a kick out of seeing the set props.

Oh my those pictures make me want to do this!! The lamp post, Mr Tomnus's door....oh too bad we aren't going until this summer. Man this and the AP EE preview all going on sure are making a trip sooner seem like a must do.....

My DF has read the books and will probably see the movie before we go, but I probably won't. Is it still interesting for someone who doesn't know the plot? Or should I let DF go alone while I do something else?

I would go anyway. It's a wonderful movie. I read The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe AGES ago, barely remembered anything of the story, and loved the movie. It is wonderful on many levels and the cinematography is stunning.

Incidentally, I started this thread, but actually didn't make it to MGM last night to see the walk-thru. MK was open later so we went there after our day at AK. I think we'll get there soon, though. :)

We did this in December and I have to say we were quite dissappointed in it! We hoped it would be like the backlot tour of how they did the 101 Dalmatians LIVE Movie Set, things like that- but it was short and sweet. NOT worth time in a line!

We waited about 15 minutes for this and thought it was a waste of time! I was expecting more than a movie preview! The wardrobe door was very fake looking and the set was basically a bunch of artificial pine trees covered in fake snow. I mean, the set was ok, but nothing too exciting. There were only a few props to look at, maybe two or three cases of things. I expected a lot more. Definitely do not do this if there is any kind of wait!
