Ok, anyone know the cheapest place to get the DVD. There is a SE 2 disc and a regular disc set.

We always find the best prices at Walmart -- the first day the DVD comes out.

The Walmart near me doesn't usually have the best price in the area, but it all depends. You never know.

I checked most of the weekly ads but didn't really see any details- most don't list prices for both. I did a google search and found this on the DVD Talk Forum, posted by cisman.

Cheapest Regular Edition = Circuit City @ 13.99
Cheapest Collectors Edition = Tower.com 22.99

Store - Regular Edition / Collectors Edition - Exclusive Deal (If Any)
Amazon - 19.98 / 23.26
Best Buy.com (I think it's usually a little higher in store but you can price match??) - 14.99 / 26.99 - Get a Case Logic 40-DVD wallet for only $3 w/purchase
Buy.com - 16.97 / 23.25 - Free Shipping
Circuit City - 13.99 / 24.99 (free download of extra materials)
Costco - regular - 18.99/18.39 - SE - 25.99/24.99
DeepDiscountDVD - 16.16 / 24.46
DVD Planet - 20.97 / 24.47
Overstock.com - 14.86 / 23.16
Target - 14.99 / 23.26 (free lithograph)
Tower.com - 18.99 / 22.99
Walmart.com - 15.87 / 23.23 (varies regionally in store)
Disney.com - 19.99 / 29.99 - free movie poster & $10 gift card for RE/$20 gift card for CE
FYE - 12.99 / 20.99 - Both After $7 Mail In Rebate

Notes:

-Pringles deal added
Pringles has a $3 MIR when you buy 5 cans and Narnia Dvd.

http://www.pringles.com/pages/pringles_narnia.shtml

-Added Best Buy Pricing thanks to Speedy. Following offer is available. ****Get a Case Logic 40-DVD wallet for only $3 (a $19.99 value) with purchase of The Chronicles of Narnia 2005 DVD or 2 DVD Special Collector’s Edition DVD set. // Minimum 45 per store // No Rainchecks // Must be purchased on the same receipt****

-Updated prices based on member posts as well as the Circuit City ad...CC is in the lead now for the Regular Edition.

-By misterchimpy: Not that great, but if you are buying paper towels/toilet paper anyway, why not. Does require POP tab from Narnia package and original receipts however. Also there are coupons towards both Brawny and Northern in today's Valassis insert in your sunday paper.

-Added disney.com prices. Thx to spartanstew

Thanks for doing the price research.
I was wondering if the 2 disc set is actually worth the extra money. I cant remember when the extra disc of any DVD has had anything worth watching. Just wondering what everyone thought.
Thanks again

We just got the regular one at Walmart for $13.88 and it came with 2 (I think since we havent opened it) free books. Not bad

Lucky you!! I just picked up the same one in WalMart this afternoon and they were selling it for $19.96!! :( If it wasn't for the book that was included I would have waited and bought it elsewhere. I'm giving it to my DD for Easter so I thought the book was a nice addition but it sure would have been nice to pay only $13.88!! We both loved the movie so I just had to buy it. :teeth:

I was kinda ticked today at Walmart's prices - $28 for the deluxe edition :sad2: So I didn't buy it - I'm ordering online :thumbsup2 Since I'm not giving it to the kids til next week (Spring Break) it doesn't matter if I don't get it for a few days.

i got it for 14.99 @ Target. Y'all know I looooooove Target! :thumbsup2
