Does anyone know anything about this? :confused3 I remember reading that there was an attraction based on the movie Narnia. I think it was a temporary attraction at MGM. I haven't been able to find any info about it, but if it exists, we would love to see it. :yay:

It's At Mgm Right Near Little Mermaid Entrance. The Look Was Cool But I Wouldn't Bother To Wait In A Long Line For It! It's Basically Just A Movie Trailer

very neat...you are led into a room that looks like the forest around the lamp post and invited to sit on Disney's snow (white carpet) to watch a short film on the making of the movie, there is some live character interaction with the white witch and then there is a very very small display of props and costumes from the movie...everything was well done, except it could have been bigger...worth seeing if you are a fan of the books/movie

They used to have a Haunted Mansion attraction based on the movie. This sounds similar. I wonder if it's the same location.

Isn't it part of "The Magic of Disney Animation" Tour near the Playhouse Disney show and the Vogage of the Little Mermaid show?

No, it's not an animated movie. The area is between the Walt Disney story (One Man's Dream) and the Millionnaire show.

Yes, we saw both. it's the same place.
After waiting in line, you enter a soundstage type building where you see the doors to the wardrobe on one side. After everyone is inside, the CM talks a little about the movie, then the doors to the wardrobe open and you are in the snowy woods of Narnia as mickeyschickie mentioned. That was pretty cool.

We got hurried thru the small display and only saw the stuff on one side.

No one has mentioned my favorite part yet...the snow outside!!! When we were there in Jan it was snowing just outside the exhibit at the backdrop where you can take pictures...by the way it was 74 degrees that day so the snow was really neat!

does anyone know how long this attraction will stay up?? we're going in august and i really want to go see it!!

Not sure how long it will be up, we saw it in early Jan when we were there.

DS loved going thru the wardrobe doors, it really is a cool effect & makes you feel like you're entering another land. The floor feels like snow, we were not to sit, everyone stood for the whole thing.

The White Witch appears to the upper left of the area, it is a real person in costume and we loved seeing that as well. They show the clip, which is like a long trailer but different from any of the trailers that I saw for the movie, then you go out through a different door & can check out some of the movie props. Also, before you get to that area there is a small door to the right side, I think it is either to represent Mr. Tumnus' door or the Beavers' door, I've got a pic of DS in front of it somewhere!

We went thru it just a few weeks ago and was very disappointed. Seriously, don't blink as your walking thru, you'll miss it. It's not that it isnt' cool, it just isn't enough!

It is very nice for those who have seen the movie.
You are admitted through the wardrobe door into a winter scene with a hundred synthetic Christmas trees, with The Lamppost right in the middle of the scene. There is a very convincing visit from the White Witch, followed by a five-minute trailer from the film. But it's not like an advertising trailer, just a nice summary of the story. All of this is very well done. Then another door opens and you walk past a very few other artifacts from the film and it's over -- that's all?

For me the highlight was The Lamppost -- I was standing next to it, and kept staring at it during the trailer. Of course this was the very same one that was in the movie -- it had to be; why make another one? It seemed to still have the mystical power it had in the film.

Would also like to know how long this is going to be there. We are going at the end of May and DS10 is a huge Narnia fan.
