Narnia Attraction - I know I'm the only one, but...

DD (5) and I both loved this attraction. At first she was hesitant but since she is always asking me when it gets to be her turn to go to Narnia I prodded her into it and she loved it! She has told everyone back home how she got to go to Narnia. We had met the White Witch at Christmas time in DL and dd swears the the white witch recognied her and that is why she did not turn us all to stone!

I highly doubt this will still be around next May, but I so wanted to experience this *sigh* I can hope, can't I? :)

It wasn't there yet when we were there last time, and I am really looking forward to it in December and hope it is still there... thanks for some positive comments on it. My son was there in August and he didn't like it either, and neither did my two grandsons, 8 and 11, but I can't wait to see it!

We just watched the movie a few weeks ago & my older ds(12)loved it! Guess I will add this to our list of things to do. I did not realize it was still there.

*fingers crossed* that it will still be there in November. I love Narnia.

Don't worry BlondeHeroine, I cried in the theatre.

I'm going to a private event being held there in December. So it will still be around at least that long... no idea beyond that.

Count me in as a huge fan of Narnia. I hope this attraction is still there in 2 weeks.

I just finished reading the entire chronicles. I feel lost now that I don't have that world to escape to every night.

I thought this attraction was just movie props and didn't go see it last Feb because so many people said it was a waste. I can't wait to see it now!

Just to balance out the posts, so unrealistic expectations aren't created, aside from the fun of the fake snowy area, and the lip-syncing white witch, there isn't much to this. Aside from a 10 minute preview of the movie. There are several cases on the way out (which is right around the movie screen), but they are hard to look at with the crowd rushing by, and the bright light from the doors.

Anything here would be an improvement.

Do you need to have seen the movie to understand the attraction?

It would probably help. I really think that those who enjoy Narnia will more appreciate it.

And Justin, honestly, I think this post will balance out the other negative posts I've already read. I almost didn't visit the attraction because of all the negative things I've read. :confused3

I agree 100%. It was ok but only for a break from the heat and to fill some time between shows. DS and I weren't that impressed but DW and DD liked it. I didn't get any pictures of the White Witch or the "forest room" but here is what I have.

I was just on WDW's official site and "Journey Into Narnia" is no longer listed as an attraction! Just a couple of months ago it was listed as a "new" attraction. Does this mean that it's already closed or will an attraction still stay open even if it's not listed on the website?

Thanks!

I think the key is not to think of it as an attraction. If you think of it as a temporary exhibit, it's much more enjoyable than if you were expecting a real Disney ride/show attraction.

So, so true. I almost didn't do it because of so many negative reviews.

I'm so glad I did though. I now know what it's like to walk through the Wardrobe and find Narnia. *sniffles*

P.S. Your wedding photos are gorgeous. I have a real soft spot for MGM.
