Narcosse's or California Grill

looking for a romantic dinner for hubby and I. Trying to decide between california grill or narcosse's...........any opinions or suggestions would be appreciated!

This is a tough one.

CG can get LOUD. It can also have LOTS of kids.

Narcooses also has it's share of kids, and due to teh wodden floor it can also be loud, although we've been at CG where it was deafiningly loud, and we've never found Narcooses to be that loud.

I personally don't find either particularly romantic. But that's me.

At the California Grill you can request the "wine room" if you don't mind waiting for a table. It is a small room without a MK view but you can see the lakes, Polynesian, etc.. It is a very quiet room...huge contrast to the main dining room. We find it romantic.

Narcoossee's can be romantic too. The lake view and dimmed lights make it so for us. But as Anne pointed out the wooden floors which certainly add to the charm can also add to the noise level if there's a rowdy group present.

Both are good, but both are busy.
Agree that neither is particulary "romantic" in that quiet, candlelight way. And I also agree that the "wine room" at CG provides the most quiet setting in either restaurant.
'Twere me, I'd opt for the California Grill, mostly due to the more impressive view.
