What time should I make our ADR to see Wishes at Narcossee's?

and

Does every seat in Narcossee's have a good view of the show? or should I request a certain section?

Thanks for your help! Its for DBF's birthday and I want to make it really special!

I made my ressie an hour before wishes was set to go off. I called and ordered a castle cake and told the reservation person that we were celebrating a birthday. They had special menus printed for me that I did not ask for and it was so special. We had a seat that was dead on castle view but 1 table back from the window. I think all the seats are probably pretty good for viewing unless you are right by the podium.

We had a great meal here. Our table was right by the window, and they dim the lights for the fireworks. In any event, we still walked out on the veranda outside for a better view. We did stay at our table for the Electric Water Parade.

Depending on what time of the year you're going, the dock/marina area can get very crowded. Guests staying at the GF go down to the marina to view wishes. There's a small narrow deck around Narcoossee's that people will stand on and block those inside the restaurant from their view.

We dined at 7:30 and went outside to view wishes at 10pm.

An hour before should be about right. And as goofygal notes, even if you have a window seat your view may be blocked by the people standing on the outside deck.

Let your server know that you would like to watch the EWP and Wishes. When we were there we let our server know and he paced our meal PERFECTLY so that we were in between courses during the EWP and Wishes. I'm not sure if that was just him being efficient or if they always do that. It's worth a shot!
