Does anyone have any advice. We will have a 13 month and 4 yr boys on our trip. Right now the baby is pretty good out, our almost 4 YR old has his days.

Would it be okay to take them there? Or should we think of a kids club for our 4yr old? I feel kinda bad doing that though.

Our kids are a little bit older 8 and 7. But we have taken them Narcoosee's, CG, Yachtsman Steakhouse, Flying Fish etc... To me it really depends on 2 things.
1 are you willing to have to entertain the kids during your special dinner.
and
2 how bad would you feel about sending your kids to the kids club.

I would say this. We quite frequently receive comments from other restaurant patrons about how well our kids behave in restaurants. This behavior came with years of working with the kids on there restaurant behavior.
This is just my opinion but, at a place like Narcoossee's, you have to be prepared to remove your child from the restaurant if there behavior is disruptive to other patrons.

Last June we took our 16month old(at the time) to California Grill and Narcoossee- he did fine at both-- there was crayons and kids menus to color-played with them more than colored, we brought small toys-- I think it would've been more relaxing without worrying about him acting out, but it ended up fine!

At Narcoossee, there is more stimuli outside to occupy them!

I agree with the OP, though I would expand that list.....
1. Be courteous to your fellow diners....incase of a melt down, be prepared to take your son for a soothing walk on the pier. Remember this is a high $ signature rest.

2. The meals at Narcosses can take anywhere from 1 1/2 to 2 hrs., will your child enjoy that kind of atmosphere for that length of time, sitting in one place?? I am a firm believer that children should not be allowed the leave the table, without an adult...in other words, no independant roaming.

3. And as the OP mentioned, will you and your spouse enjoy yourselves if much of your time is spent entertaining your child. Only you know how your children typically react in these types of situtations!

it really depends on your child. As a childless couple we enjoy the restaurants like narcoossee's for their atmosphere. We have sat right next to a table with children and they were very well behaved and i think that is fine (and usually complement the parnets) . If your child is not one to sit relatively quietly for 2 hrs then this may not be the place.
