Narcoossee's Surf and Turf?

Anyone here have the surf and turf at Narcoossee's? I would love some lobster over my Disney vacation but am worried to go here cause of some of the so so reviews. If anyone here has had the S+T here please let me know your opinion.

DH ordered it at Narcoossee's this last Nov and loved the lobster tail but thought the quality of the filet was horrible...same thing for our dinner a few nights later at Cali Grill, the filet was horrible

I have ordered 3 times (7/10, 7/09 & 8/08) and have enjoyed every time.

Unlike PP, my filet was very good ... much better than steak at Yachtsman last trip or in 2008. In 2009, my filet at Yachtsman was very good. Obviously, most restaurants, including signature, can be hit or miss.

Best filet on property was at Shula's last summer. Amazing.

My father ordered the Surf and Turf in December and really enjoyed it. He said that the filet was done perfectly. He didn't say much about the lobster tail, but he ate the whole thing! He did say that he's planning to order it again when we go back to Narcoossee's.

DH ordered it last February and loved it. His steak and lobster were both cooked to perfection and very tasty.

We both ordered it on our honeymoon last August. It was awesome!! It was DH's favorite meal of 10 days on the DxDP.

We hope to go there again and we would both get the same thing.

It's been a few years, but when we were there, we didn't get the surf & turf, but had the whole lobster. It was delicious.

And if I remember right from all the planning and reading we did back when we were booking Narcoossee for that trip, the whole lobster is a whole Maine lobster (cold water) where the lobster tails are warm water, so there is a distinct taste difference between the two. Not to say that either is bad, just different.

we went in Sept and DH had the surf and turf and I had the whole lobster. Both were FANTASTIC. (and I'm originally from Cape Cod, so I know a thing or two about lobster! )

It was one of our favorite meals at Disney. It was our anniversary....they gave us champagne and strawberries and a special menu...it was wonderful.
