I have Le Cellier booked for our one "fancy" meal, but I'm thinking of switching it to Narcoossee's - What do you think?
The biggest advantage to doing LC is the fact that it's inside the park.

We're going during F&W, so even without a reservation there, we can still enjoy their filet and soup at the kiosk.

Would you have their two "biggest sellers" at the kiosk, and get rid of the ADR for Narcoossee's, or is there more to the restaurant that we would be missing out on?

Thanks!

We much prefer Narcoossee’s to LC. Better food, less cramped seating, possibly fireworks viewing depending on timing. LC used to be a good value before it went to two credits on the dining plan, but now it’s priced much the same as any other signature restaurant.

Narcoossee’s is one of our family favorites and we dine there almost every trip. The only advantage LC has is being in Epcot so you wouldn't lose in park time to travel/eating time.

Le Cellier is over rated. I was not impressed. As you mentioned, you can try their filet at the F&W fest. So why bother with an ADR? i'd go with Narcoossee's.

Of the two, I would do Narcoosee's simply for the ambiance. I find the Narcoosee's menu to be very limited and the food isn't great, IMHO, though (and we've tried it several times). I would totally ditch Le Cellier for the kiosk food.

I would do Le Cellier simply because we haven't eaten there yet, LOL.

Now as to why it's so low on our eating bucket list? The food sounds pretty carb heavy and I'm not big on those types of meals; DGD doesn't like cheese so the soup holds no attraction for her and the man just wants a steak and salad which we can get at a lot of other restaurants. Oh and the maple syrup brulee just sounds a bit odd and heavy to me.

We've eaten at Narcoosse's a few times and our best meal was at the now gone and lamented brunch. Last December we ate there on a whim (we were staying at GF) and was disappointed by one of the entrees which was a severely overcooked salmon filet. Explained the problem to our server who promptly made it right but the food wasn't earth shatteringly good merely competent for the most part. Great view of the fireworks though and the lake in general.

Le Cellier has a special place of honor.

BIGGEST RIPOFF AT DISNEY! (and that takes some doing)

Food is subpar. Service ranges from bad to horrid. Seating is incredibly overcrowded

The only think "signature" about this place is pricing. All Disney did to make it Signature was "raise prices" they didn't increase food quality (and probably decreased it), they didn't make the atmosphere better, they didn't hire professional staff. There's noting "Fancy" about it, it's an overpriced Longhorn Steakhouse!

Learn from my errors (yes I let them rip me off more than once)!

FYI, the filet they served me at the Food and Wine booth was much better than the filet they served at the restaurant LOL!

We have not had a bad meal at either.
Le Cellier is more expensive and more crowded, with the tables closer together. but, they have the cheese soup!
Narcoossees can be very noisy at times as well, more room between tables. And a great view of the castle fireworks at night.
If you are in EPCOT, I would go to Le Cellier.
If at another park or outside a park, then Narcoossees.

LC would be my choice if you are in the steak mood, everyone seems to be all hating LC but I found Narcoossees to be a bit over rated and with the talk of the cost at LC add N to that list, a bit high and I also found it to be loud.......in park, LC as you do not have to travel all the way over to N........

We love Le Cellier. They have the pretzel bread for the table and really enjoy the filet with risotto and maple creme brûlée for dessert.

I agree on all points except one...

Longhorn is FAR better than LC. Truly it is.

We have had only wonderful service and food at LeCellier. It has been our go to place for many years now.

I do really like Narcoosee's, but LeCellier is our favorite.

Narcoossees would be my choice by a landslide. The food at Narcoossees is far superior to the "Outback, Longhorn, or Texas Road House quality of LC. The atmosphere is not dark and cramped and offers some great views, and the service is far superior in my opinion than LC. When a steakhouse like LC gets more rave reviews for pretzel bread and cheese soup that throws up a red flag for me. I'd even go as far to say I would choose Coral Reef over LC. The one meal I had at LC is 90 minutes of my life I will never get back.

Well put.

I'd say Narcoossee's for sure. Their filet is far better than the filets I've had at Le Cellier. Tables are much more spread out too. And great view of the fireworks if you time it right!

My choice would be Narcoossee's. The fish there was incredible. The food is good at Le Cellier but we warned the wait staff can be meh. Three trips ago they argued with my daughter and told her she didn't want a rare steak (she and I do) and they brought out medium well done which I cheerfully sent back and called a manager.

We used to love both, and make reservations at both every trip. The past 2 times, Le Cellier has been very underwhelming for us. Narcoosee has been hit and miss. The service last September was so bad I asked to speak with a manager.....we had waited for over an hour at the table on our meal...( And they were not busy at that point. Then, this past February it was amazing again. Every restaurant has good and bad days. Have you thought about Yachtsman, we always love our meal there. Or if you walk a bit further, we just tried Shula's this past March....so amazing. Hope you have a great meal and trip!
