Narcoossee's - dining plan question

I noticed that the cheese plate is on the dessert AND appetizer menu. Will the server allow us to order it as an appetizer but ring it up as a dessert? We're on the dining plan, so it apparently "has" to be a dessert. Thanks in advance!
