We also did Narcoossee's as a first night dinner, what a magical way to start a trip.
My 6yo nephew had the Mickey shaped pasta. It was so cute served in a bowl with grated cheese and sauce served on the side in smaller bowls. Guess what shape they made together, yup a Mickey head, so so cute. My nephew declared his Mickey pasta the best ever!

He and I shared a banana split from the child menu for dessert.
I had the Surf and Turf, but had them sub scallops for my Turf. I think I got a full order of large tender scallops, they could have servered me have the amount and I would have been in heaven. Lobster was pretty good too. I also had the crabcake appetizer. Even if you are on the basic plan that doesn't include apps. order this one and share, they are that good. I got a Mango smoothie as my beverage...OMG...tasty, refreshing, just wow. No wonder I didn't get my own dessert.
My mother had a nightly special, I believe it was grouper. She also got the chowder, it was wonderful. She ended the night with her beverage, pot of chamoille tea and the Year of Million Dreams Almond Crusted Cheesecake. This was the first time in my life I'd actually seen my mother's eyes roll back in her head, both at the presentation and at the taste of the dessert. My mother bakes cheesecake from scratch (softens the cream cheese, spring load pans, the works) so she knows good cheese cake. I'm not a fan of cheese cake and we both loved this one.
Not only will you get to see Wishes, but the Electric Water parade should roll past before Wishes and your little ones will love it.
