Narcoosee's Whole Lobster

For those of you who have had the whole lobster at Narcoosee's, how hard is this item to eat? DH and I love lobster but generally only order lobster tails as we hate to "wrestle" with our food.

It's not hard at all to eat...it's cut and separated when they bring it to you.

Lucky for you, according to All EARS, the whole lobster has been taken off the menu and replaced with a Lobster Tail!!!!!!

BTW-We ate there last june and had the whole lobster (NOT IMPRESSED)

We had the whole maine lobster in January. It was great It's split in half and the claws are partially cracked as well. You should be prepared to get your hands a little messy but it's not too bad. I think allears still has it listed.

We've had lobster at Narcoosee's twice and it was overcooked and rubbery both times :-( On a more positive note, the rest of our meal was superb. The mussels are perfectly cooked and seasoned and the almond crusted cheesecake is to die for.

It was a whole lobster when we were there in late February. I really enjoyed it but DH's lobster tail on the surf and turf was a bit overcooked and rubbery.

I thought it was really good. It wasn't overcooked at all. But it is separated and I was a little sad about that. I really like destroying lobsters!!

Lobster is the last thing you should order in any restaurant. It's messy, smelly, and often just not cooked right. Never, ever buy it broiled.

All ya got to do is toss them in a pot of boiling water, so it's something you are better off having at home if you can find live lobster.
