Narcoosees - Opinions?

Not sure exactly what you wanted to know, but the food and service were both great.

We were there in April and it is one of DH's favorite restaurants. He loves the tuna. The view of the castle at night is really pretty. We have alway had a great meal with wonderful service.

It is my daughter's favorite WDW restaurant for dinner. Great food. Most of my family dined there last in March and had great food as usual. Service was not good but that was the only time that has happened in many meals there.

I love the location...on the water with a view of the Magic Kingdom, etc..

I went in March, and unfortunately had ABYSSMAL service. The seafood bisque is to die for, though, and my aunt said her free range chicken entree was excellent. Based on other reviews, I think we were just unlucky with the service. (Donna, Diane, something like that. Ask for a male server - I'm sure it was a woman! )

I was there with my wife in June. Had a PS. The view was excellent. The food was pretty good but not as good as the price seemed to indicate. The Living Seas had better food to me. My wife agreed. The atmosphere was absolutely great. The service was not good. It was not horrible but not something that I would have expected given the price and build up. This was not at all an "evening killer" but I might not do a back flip to get back there. We spent about $127.00. We have many places that we go to around home that run about that rate for dinner but beat the pants off the food at Narcoosees. This is what I guess I judge the place by. I suppose I expected more. When this happens I will usually give the place one more shot before deciding final judgement. In this case there are so many other choices I am interested in getting to, I may not get back anytime soon. Again not too bad, but not great.

It's been a long time since we've been there, but it was NOISY, expensive, and the food was so-so. I'd try it again though because the location was so nice.

The food is very good at Narcoosee's, but not as delicious as California Grill or Cirtricos. However, the atmosphere at Narcoosees is exceptional. If you go, plan your meal around the Magic Kingdom fireworks. There are great views from most of the window tables, and the music is piped into the restaurant. After that, stick around for the Electrical Water Pageant that takes place on the lagoon around 9:30pm.

We enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner there last November. Considering it was a holiday and the place was jammed, we had wonderful service and high quality food. I am very fussy and was pleased with all our choices. We did not opt for a traditional dinner of turkey although it was available.

We did wait for our PS for at least a 1/2 hour, but were not surprised since it was Thanksgiving. While I would not term this romantic dining, it was lovely to be able to see the castle and the fireworks that night.

Dawgfan, I am sorry to hear you did not enjoy it there, but in my opinion you could not be more wrong. The food is awesome and the atmosphere is very fun, albeit very loud. I have reccommended this restaurant to allot of very well known food gurus and they have all returned to me with rave reviews of the food. THe price is no different than that of other area restaurants and to say that other restaurants are better than Narcoossee then I have to respectfully disagree in a big way. Narcoossee's has improved over the years and seems to continue to do so...So in closing I absolutely love Narcoossee's, from their food to their wine and the service is ok...but to use price as a downfall is ludicrous when compared to the restaurants in the area, Narcoossees is the tops and the rest just lag behind: A Walt Disney World Fan for Life!!
