We've have our November wedding reception at the California Grille Napa Room and will be using the Sonoma Room for the cocktail hour.

Disney has told us in the past that you can only put 40 in the Napa Room with a dance floor. Our invites are out and most of the responses have come back saying that people are coming! Thats great, but we are gonna be over 40 now!!!

Anyone have any experience with this room? I've seen pictures of 46 in that room with a dance floor. Anybody know if that really works??

the Napa room is pretty small...i have photos on my pj when i went for a site visit ... it has only 4 tables in it - 4 only if you want a dance floor, but 5 if not. I havent seen a huge amount of people in there for a reception.. i think it is around 40 people though.

the Sonoma room is TINY. I saw some photos of a wedding with 20 odd people and the looked squashed up in photos! I managed to get a peek at our site visit and it looked small and people were outside with thier drinks and i think it was because it was packed (it was some kind of business meeting, not wedding).

The napa room has a great view, and you get the whole bar with it, and your guests can walk outside to watch the fireworks if on that night... the only thing is why we didnt choose it because you have to stick to the California Grill menu and it cannot be customized at all (we want customized!)

HTH!!
