Nap at the hotel or in the stroller???

Here is a trick I use for my dd who was 8 months on our first trip and is 18 months now.

I took binder clips (the little black ones) and clipped them to the umbrella of the stroller. I used an inexpensive receiving blanket that was lightweight and cliped it to the stroller as well. When she would fall asleep I would drape the blanket down over her and instand sun shade. It worked like a dream and we didn't worry about the sun beaming in her eyes.

Good luck!

Our kids nap in the stroller. We went back to the resort one time so DS could nap and I felt like I was missing out of a lot. Just last week both kids DS 5yrs and DD ~20 mos napped in our Joovy Caboose stroller. They didnt nap long 30-60 mins, but it was all the needed to recharge their batteries. My son didnt really nap-he fell asleep at the end of the day. He clipped the safety strap on the back and put his arms on it, then rested his head on his arms. When the kids have napped in the park, we either shop, park in a quiet spot and the other parent takes the awake kid (usually DS) on rides, or we go eat lunch (if not crowded, some places let you bring a stroller inside to your table).
