Is anyone else following this story? I really don't care for Nancy Grace but she called this one. I really think the mother murdered her baby. Anyone else?

I was just searching for the story because I saw it quick on the news this AM. It sounds like she called the mother out and then the mother killed herself? I'd love to find the non-Nancy Grace part of the story.

NG is one of those people that drive me crazy but I can't get enough of her. When I'm able to watch Court TV (which I did my entire maternity leave!), I can not stay away from her.

I watch her from time to time. She is who she is and like it or not, she does not hide her feelings. I listened to the call in segment with the mother and the mother skirted all of Nancy's questions. If my baby had been kidnapped, I would be doing everything under the sun to help find him. It sounds like the mother had other issues too.

I think the mother either did it or knew who did it.

I don't blame nancy's interview with this woman as the reason she killed herself.

The woman obviously was hiding something and Nancy called her out. Even the little boys father said that her story did not make sense, and he had been asked the same types of questions.

If the family is not blaming Nancy, then I don't think the media should. Nancy should not change her interview style.

I dont like her. I really think she crossed the line on this one. And I think, even though she is probably right, its not her job to be judge and jury and I think she really did on this one. And now I think she is pushing it really hard to cover her own butt because she was so rude to this woman. The woman did not sound like she had lost a child....but neither did her ex-husband. Both sounded calm and collected. Who sknows how people react when they are under extreme stress? People react differently and I dont think its appropriate to push and push them because you think they are guilty, esp on a tv show. I have also noticed she is only having "yes men" on her show now. Every one agrees with her on everything......never a dissenting opion of any kind.

I've never seen Nancy Grace and just heard about this case yesterday but I have two words for those who would blame Nancy Grace: personal accountability.

I thought her family were the ones who said Nancy Grace pushed her over the edge.

I think the mother was involved, but I think Nancy Grace crossed the line as an interviewer. She's not a prosecuter anymore. I've never liked her anyway, she asks a question, ignores the answer and goes off on a tirade.

I think she's great and a definite loss to the prosecutorial world.

As far as the mother - she did it.

I was just going by the baby's father and his comments. He isn't blaming Nancy.

As the rest of her family, maybe they are blaming Nancy, but they should look at the big picture, and wonder why the woman was not answering Nancy's questions.

I think the dad knows way more then he's telling. In a local interview the reporter asked him if he thought Trenton was alive, he said he did and he could feel them. The reporter then asked him what Trenton is like and the dad proceeded to tell him he WAS, this and WAS that all in the past tense. He did this in another interview I saw when they asked him about the stuffed animal found in the Ocala forest. Those were huge red flag for me. I just can't imagine speaking of my missing child in the past tense like that.

In regards to Nancy Grace, I think she made a mistake because if this mom did hurt Trenton, now she's gone and it'll make it harder to either find Trenton or get closure for his family if he was killed.

I'm just praying for little Trenton. :(

The Grandparents are blaming this interview for pushing her over the edge. She killed herself in their house, with the grandfathers gun.

How was Nancy to know that the woman would walk away from the interview and kill herself? How did she make a mistake? The woman's stories were not adding up, and she would not answer some of Nancy's questions, one of which was "where were you when your son went missing?"

If the woman was a distraught mother who wanted help in finding her baby, Nancy would of been much more gentle and symapthetic. It was the mother who set the tone of the interview. IMO

Why would the mom agree to talk to Nancy Grace in the first place? I didn't see the interview, was she trying to raise awareness as to her son being missing?

I agree 100%. Why did the mother agree to go on Nancy Grace's show to begin with? If she wasn't interested in answering questions, why bother. Sounds to me like the mother was a sociopath.

I don't know the details of this case, but Nancy Grace is a hack. There is a very good reason she is not a prosecutor anymore and she NEVER lets the facts get in the way of her tirades. This woman has done more to hurt our judicial system than any other person I can think of.

I wasn't saying I blame her but I just think in retrospect it was a mistake. If pushing the mom gave her a hint that maybe prosecuters were on to her as well. If as a result she killed herself, it will inturn, make it harder to find out what happened to Trenton. I'm not speaking in positives because no one knows what really was going on in the moms head, just offering a different view. I'm just worried they'll never find out what happened to Trenton. :( I live in the same county(Lake) and it's all over the news here, it's hitting close to home literally.

Again, I really don't care about Nancy Grace, I'm just praying for little Trenton. :(

Nancy Grace is just another egomaniac media-you-know-what. I can't stand her.

I think it was implied that this would help get the word out and help find the child. I dont think she was expecting to be the focus of a nasty tirade. And I saw it. Every time she tried to say something about the search, she was interrupted and berated. Whether or not shes guilty, its not nancy graces job to determine that. Now the whole world thinks she is.....what if shes not? what if it was the father instead?? I think this was very harmful to the case as a whole. It didnt help find him.....and it prejudiced the public against the mother.

I think I caught some of this interview... was this the one where she said she was out & about shopping and when Nancy Grace asked what stores she'd been to the lady couldn't/wouldn't answer?! I mean who can't even name one store that they walked into?! I just kept thinking she doesn't want to name a store because they'll pull the security tape & see that she wasn't there...
