Just got paperwork for a BCV that my wife and I are buying (first time) and am wondering in whose name most people put their DVC in. I guess in the chance we are dead or of unfit mind before the ending date would it be easier if we owned it jointly or can our kids just call and act like it is theirs?

Thanks and looking forward to using some points!

I bought about a year and a half ago and was wondering the same thing, I made my kids associate members, they can make reservations but there names are not on the deed. All you have to do is name them as beneficiaries and they will get it anyways.

1) Listing them as associates is the best method.
2) If you are dead, the will takes over.
3) if you are incapacitated, the living will takes over.

I'll add my voice to the masses. Add them as associate members but not on the deed if you want them to be able to make reservations.
