Name on ressie

The owners name is on the reservation, but the guests listed are the renters.
 
The name of the renter should be on the prined confirmation and will DEFINITELY need to be on the reservation itself or you wouldn't be allowed to even check-in (be sure tho have photo ID with you). However ... until you have checked in, the reservation will under the full control of the member who owns the points - renters will not be able to make any requests or changes to the reservation. You should expect and ask for a copy of the printed confirmation letter in your name. You should be able to call the reosrt directly a few days ahead of arrival to confirm your reservation.

I have something that I need to drop off at BWV for someone renting points. Should I put the owners name as a c/o since it will be dropped off most likely before they check in?

I am renting points for Jan. When the reservation was made (at the 11th month), I was able to call and confirm my reservation. I tried calling yesterday to confirm (not make any changes) and they would not let me b/c I am not the owner. Has something changed?
 
Yes, Member Services has stopped taking calls from anyone but members.

As crisi said, the MS policy has changed (about 6 weeks or so ago) and they will no longer talk to non-members.

If you want to check anything, or add DME or DDP, you'll have to either have the owner do it, or do a conference call with the owner.

To check the ressie itself, you can call the resort directly shortly before your trip. I've heard 3 days prior, and I've heard 7, not sure which (if either) is correct.
