I know this is a MS question, but I'm trying to hold off until the "post hurricane rush" is over.
Wondering if anyone has experience with this scenario?

I have a 2 bdrm reservation 11/25-12/2.
My son has a reservation 11/26-29. We have his room waitlisted for 11/25.
If is does not come through, there is space in my room (only 6 people currently) so he will stay with me 11/25 and then check in his room the next day.
I, of course, want to list him on my room - to be clear about who is staying in the room and also to make him eligible for Multipass bookings with us. However, there isn't a way to list him for only the one night and if we simply add him to the reservation then he will be listed on 2 rooms 11/26-29.
His 11/26-11/29 room and ticket are loaded in MDE. We would have to connect his ticket to him for 11/25 so that we could book Multipass. (His ticket begins on 11/25)

I am afraid his being on 2 rooms will cause a problem. Anyone have any experiences with this? How did it work out? Any advice for fixes?
Thank you in advance!
Tammy

Just list him and when he is at the resort, and his room is ready, assuming the waitlist doesn’t happen, they can take care of getting him off yours so he won’t have a problem with hjs MB

We double book nights al the time for split stays and it’s easy for the front desk to co…they just uncheck him from being in your room.

So Member Services doesn't catch/care that someone is listed on two separate reservations at the same time?
And I'm sure this is a separate issue - but MDE app won't have an issue that he is on two separate rooms?

No, they don’t care and the MDE app won’t care prior to check in. Where the issue comes is is when you are there and need to access a room.

The MB can’t be set for two rooms at once but the front desk can easily do that for him when he checks out if your room and into his own.
