Name Fills: A question from the clueless newbie

Aren't the name fills awesome?? I love looking at them..I have not a tad bit of talent so looking at and appreciating all the time these designers give us is truly amazing

Not sure what you mean by the software we will use? I too am new, but love those name fill designs. I thought you made them, sent us the attachment, and we could print them on transfer paper?? I do have photoshop CS3. But not sure what else we need to use designs?? Any help is greatly appreciated

Although there are several options out there the one that I'd recommend is Photoshop Elements. It's well supported with tons of tutorials, most free, out on the net. (If you have the full version you can of course use that)

This tutorial shows how to make a basic name fill. It's for full Photoshop but works the same for Elements.

You can also make these using MS Word if you have that. Here is a thread that teaches how to personalize DISigns using MS Word..but it also teaches how to make name fills:

Most DISigners on the Boards use a photo editing software to make their DISigns. If yo have photoshop elements (a beginners version of photoshop and much cheaper) ... here is a video tutorial on how to make name fills:
