Name change on DVC

I am the primary person on our DVC contract. The person I bought the DVC with in 03 does not want be a DVC member anymore. I know I will have to pay money to have the deed changed to just my name. No worries about that. The problem is I live in CA and she lives in VA. How is this going to work for signing the paper work do we both have to be in the same place at the same time. Has anyone done something like this before.

No you can each sign in your own state.

Remember that if you bought using any financing, it will need to be fully paid off before you can re-deed.

It's fairly easy to do and you can do it yourself for around $50 for a single contact. As noted, any loan has to be paid off first or at the time of the change.
