Nail ?

I cannot grow my own nails as I have curved nail beds and they grow in really weird shapes, so I am going to have to go with acrylics. I used to have them years ago, but now I am not allowed them in my job.
I will have them done the day before I leave UK which is 5 days before my VR. If I have any disasters (eg a break) I will need a good salon local to WDW who will do a repair (any suggestions?). Are there any local mobile nail technicians who will travel to the resorts?

I haven't gone through all of the other posts to see if anyone else has suggested this, and not sure how much Disney charges (but I assume it would be very expensive!). I usually get my nails done at a place by me and I have them do a permanent french (pink and white). the only polish that is put on is clear and so it prevents any chipping. Good Luck!!!

somebody has probably already adressed this, but, at my last, only and never again experience at the GF spa, the pedi i got their didn't last, the area was funky and alot of day spa type places don't do acrylic or gel nails and the like... so just check ahead as of course we are doing!

i get pedicures regularly, not so much my fingernails, but i do enjoy the tasteful design for a special occaision (like i wanted a mickey mouse inspired pedicure) but the "nicer" spas (and i frequent them) seem not to do the "trendier" services...

I had mine done the day before the wedding at the GF. It was expensive, but one of those things I budgeted for. It was very convienient for my MOH and I because we were staying that the POLY so we just walked over that afternoon. Also we didn't have a car that day as DF was using it with his family so it just made everything easier to suck up the cost and go to the GF.
They did a great job and I had a nice arm and leg massage

So you had a bad experience at the GF spa? I wonder if anyone else on here has. It is very expensive for a mani/pedi and me and DF were also considering getting massages from there, but I would deff be mad if they don't do a good job, since it is a lot of $, and I give myself french mani/pedi all the time. I thought it would just make for a nice morning, but certainly not if it is funky in there lol.
