am i understanding this correctly....this is only good on max 8 day vacations????? My family and I are doing a Magical Gathering in October, and want to stay for 12 days...UGH!!!

yup you got it....we are going for 10...but they can give you two separate reservations if you like...what a pain in the butt that is...

We are planning a 10 night stay, so this makes booking a package deal a real hassle. For a plan called Magic YOUR Way that is advertised as a way to stay for longer for less money, I fail to understand why they limit how long you can stay?!?!?!

Come on Disney, fix this ASAP! I would hate to spend my money at Universal. Maggie

ok, so I am on Disney.com now, trying to finaggle my way around this MAJOR bump...thought I would book an 8 night package with 7 day hopper with no expiration, then book an additional room only for 4 nights with no passes. We are going to be going to US/IOA anyway, so this may work...what do you guys think??????

That's one way to do it, but you might have to switch rooms for the last 4 days, even if you don't switch resorts. You might want to look into booking a room closer to Universal....it would be cheaper. Maggie

That might or might not be the case. If you make a back to back reservation they should beable to note on it that the family is staying 8 nights and 4 nights back to back under two reservations.

We also want to stay longer 14 days, and will do back to back, we also wanted the dining, and that won't work as to get the dining you need to have a package with room and tickets......

if you book a room at universal do it at the begining of your stay. We did this once and spent our last 2 days at universal...and what a let down..it wasnt that the park wasnt great..but we missed our disney magic...id rather end a vacation that way...plus if you stay at a universal resort you will realize how nice disney really is..
