MYW rates for additional adults?

I was under the impression that guests to a MYW package just added the cost of their tickets (unless you add a dining plan).

We have booked a trip from November 15th - 22nd for myself, DW and DD9 at POR standard room w/ six day base tickets and free dining. My mother has decided to join us, so I emailed my AAA agent today to add her to the reservation expecting the price of my trip to only increase the cost of a six day base ticket. However, the cost increased $438.09, instead of the cost of the ticket $318.44.

I ran various numbers myself on the WDW website and found that for my trip the price going from (POR standard, 11/15-11/22, six day MYW base tickets):

one to two adults(10+) is $319.84.
two to three adults is $438.09
three to four adults is $318.44.

Does anyone have an idea why the extra ~$120 for the third adult 10+?

There is a charge for more than 2 adults in standard rooms. For moderates I believe it is $15 per night. Rates are based on double occupancy and its because your mother is over 18. If you had an 11 year old you wouldn't be charged for another adult even though they are paying adult prices.

The PP is correct that at the moderates there is a $15 + tax fee per night for the third adult (18 years or older) in the room.
