MYW dining

Hopefully some of you experienced DISers can help me on this one. We are traveling to WDW during our Mardi Gras week (no tears here over missing Mardi Gras!) My DD will turn 3 during our trip. She is booked as a 2 year old. I understand that with the dining plan she is able to eat at the buffets and AYCE restaurants, but may not order off of the kids' menu...I think this is correct. Anyway, my question is, after her b-day will we start to get charged for her meals, or will the dining plan cover her? Can we order off the kids' menu after her birthday? I'm not sure if there will be a distinction made, or if the way she starts the week is the way she stays. Can anyone help me with this?

What ever age is is when she starts the trip she will remain that age for the entire trip (in Disney's eyes anyway). You should not be charged for her meals at buffets or AYCE meals but if you do order off the childrens menu yes you will have to pay for the meal. Make sure you look at the bill sometimes you are charged for an infant just tell them and they'll correct it.
