We have one remaining TS spot left to fill in our itinerary. Those who have used the MYW dining package where did you feel you got the best value for your package at a table service restaurant?

I would have to say OHANA...that was an awful lot of food to only have to use one TS per person. WELL WORTH EVERY BIT OF IT TOO!!!!

Next time we go back I wouldn't mind eating there every night..LOL

This was on my short list of places to try. I'm glad to hear another good review of it. It looks like a fun place and the food sounds yummy. Thanks!

We just came back last week from an 8 day trip and our best table service meal by far was Le Celler Steak house in Canada in Epcot. The food and service was excellent. The bill for 2 adults and 2 children came out to a little over 150.00...everything was covered. We had a great time.

Have fun! ::MickeyMo

I told DH tonight that Le Cellier & Ohana were the top two in contention right now so I am happy to hear another positive review about Le Cellier! :)

I think we saved the most at Ohanna. We also did great at Marrekesh, and Mama Melrose fantasmic package.

I wish Le Cellier would have been 1 credit when we were there. I'm sure it is a great value.

Also I've read lots of posts about Concourse Steakhouse. It is on our list for December, and DH, priced it out to almost $150, for our family (3 adult diners, and 1 child). Not bad for the $115 spent on that day.

Good luck deciding, and have a great trip.

Shutters by far - it was $140 for that dinner for us!! It's located at Carribean Beach Resort and our waitress sure wanted a nice tip, lol. The food was really great, and it was a nice meal atmosphere wise too.

I had the salmon which was so great, dh had the prime rib. Good food and a great deal on the dining plan.

We ate at Spoodles on the Board Walk one knight on a whim and we were very happy. The meal for our family of four (2 adults & 2 children) would have been over $120 but we used our sit down credits on the meal plan. My wife had the salmon and said it was the best she had all week and I had the Fettuccini Alfredo. They make the sauce when you order not in advance and it was wonderful. The kids’ meals were great. The got an appetizer of cheese flat bread each and it turned out to be a small cheese pizza. Their dessert was a make your own Sunday. The each got a cup with two scoops of ice cream with 6 small cups of toppings they could add. Naturally they added them all. Over all it is a great restaurant. At 6:00 PM on a Wednesday we walked right in too!!!

Another vote here for Le Cellier. Our favorite meal of the trip. We went last September, before the dining plan came out, but we went for lunch. Our bill was around $75 for 2 adults, and it could have easily been higher but we weren't super hungry. It's a great place!

See I didn't even know that Le Cellier was a 1 credit dinner now or we would have cancelled one of our PS's and made one for there....You learn so much from this board I tell ya.

Do we know if WDW will be offering the dining plan in 2006?

I was wondering that too. Is the dining plan a new 'from now on' thing? Or is it affiliated with the 50th anniversary?

That is what I would like to know as well. I imagine it will still be similar since they will still be having the celebration. They just changed it for gold/silver plan in January with the Magic Your Way stuff, so my hopes are that it will be too soon for them to revamp anything. I know that the ME busses will run through the end of the celebration at least, so my hopes are that the dining plan will as well (with the appropriate rate increase). If they change it I imagine it will be something along the lines of seperating the child from adult credits etc. I really want this plan because we want to have one TS meal a day and on our list are:

Concourse for dinner
LTT for dinner
Cindy's for dinner
Alfredos for dnner
Sci Fi for lunch (we might pay cash for this)
Ohanas for dinner
Le Cellier for dinner

Without the plan we will not be able to afford all of these during one trip-well more like we can't bring ourselves to spend that much on food all in one trip!

It is an 18 mth Celebration right (I think I read that somewhere on here)? So if it began on May 5th of 2005 it should end on Nov 5th 2006?

Am I calculating this right? We want to come back in June or July of 2006, so if they can have it for at least until then I will be pleased.....

There are alot of places I wanted to eat but we had the in-laws with us and there are alot of things that FIL will not eat so we were limited. I am ready to try other places.

since it started in Jan, not in May when the celebration did, I would assume it is not tied to the celebration in any way. Just a new way to dine. Of course that is just an educated guess.
