MYW Dining package ?

I've read on the Dis that you can't book a MYW dining package unless you pay rack rate. However, can you book it without buying park tickets from Disney? I'm looking at the website and can't figure out how to do it without buying the park tickets too. A friend of mine asked me to work up a price for her and her family to go for their first time, and I am thrilled to do it. But I want to get her the best possible deal for their money. I priced tickets through TicketMania and they are cheaper than ordering them from WDW in advance. I've only been doing research online today, I left the 1-800 # to CRO at home.

I'm also hoping that discount codes will come out SOON, but that will probably negate the option of a MYW dining package anyway. I know I'm rambling, please bear with me....I get excited when planning a vacation. Even when it's not mine!

The MYW dining option is a vacation package addon. You have to book a package, not just a room, in order to add on the dining option. That makes it less attractive to AP holders and those people who have leftover days on their existing passes.
