MYW dining and two rooms--pooled credits problem

We had a problem with the pooled credit system. We are a family of seven and took my parents for a total of nine people. We paid for five adults and four children between the two rooms. We did not use child credits for adult meals...we had more than enough to eat without doing that. The hotel split our party's credits into two rooms with three adults/two children in one and two adults/two children in the other.

I think our mistake was using all the credits on one room completely before using the credits on the other card. When we got to our last meal, we had the five adult table services remaining (we had fed the children at the hotel earlier in the evening while the adults enjoyed a coffee in anticipation of a huge meal later). When we attempted to use the five remaining adult credits on our card, the manager informed us that it was not possible because they showed two adults and two children in the room. After showing him our other cards and insisting that we were not trying to "pull something" he finally accepted the credits, but it really ticked me off that I was being accused of being dishonest. The waiter, who had been very nice during the entire meal, was very rude and condescending when he brought back the ticket for me to sign. Even though it turned out fine, it really left me with a bad taste (no pun intended) for this particular restaurant and tarnished an otherwise perfect vacation.

We reported the problem to the hotel's concierge, and had him pull our dining details to prove that we were not dishonest. Obviously, I am still bothered by this several days later...but I wanted to warn those of you who would have credits split between two rooms to be prepared to defend yourself if you eat meals at seperate times with a mix of adult and child credits. Also, I am not sure why this problem was not addressed earlier in our visit--the concierge said it could have been because we had so many credits in the beginning and that it was only apparent when we got down to the last ones, but that really does not make sense to me. :confused3
 
We had a similar problem with 2 rooms and the credits on separate card keys. We were questioned twice and both times we explained that the credits were on two cards. The CM's weren't rude, just confused. At CRT, the waiter was a little "upset" we didn't advise him before we ordered that we needed to use 2 credits left on one card and 3 credits left on another card, but he was never rude. Heck, I didn't know they couldn't use 2 cards to pay for one bill. I think Disney needs to update their system to allow for folks with multiple rooms to have the credits on one card. JMHO.

We had the two room issue also, but never had a problem, as they totally understood our situation.
And they CAN pay for a meal with more than one card, don't let them mess with you on that one. It is just more work for them.
I was wishing for both rooms to be combined also.
