We have reservations for in a couple of weeks.. Has anyone been and what would you recommend? Is there a must eat item?? :goodvibes

I know the restaruant is recommended that is why we are going. I guess I didn't word it correctly and i'm sorry for that. :goodvibes I wanted to know if there was a must eat food to try like a lot of the Disney restaurants. I have read all the reviews and a lot are older. Just wanted some reviews from people who have been recently or if its a favorite restaurant of someones. I am not asking for links just some friendly advice. Sorry :flower3:

I will have to let my son know about the Filet. Thanks for your suggestion. I am not a meat eater but my family is. Especially my son. Thanks :goodvibes

A MUST is the warm gooey chocolate banana cake topped with peanut butter ice cream for dessert!!!!!
Any seafood dishes I've had there have been outstanding. Their risotto of the day is usually fantastic also.

Now your talking desserts :rotfl:

hanks to the both of you for your responses :goodvibes

I would highly recommend the Chef's Signature Pizza...it's fantastic!

The sticky that I linked is about food recommendations and what people like to eat at Universal. It is full of friendly advice. You'll find the bistro filet is talked about in that thread.

Any posts added to the sticky about food recommendations are really helpful to others with the same questions.

Potion of the Gods - Risotto of the day - Corvina and the bistro filet are all repeats for us! :thumbsup2 My son really likes the buffalo bbq chicken wrap that has mashed potatoes inside.

The dessert shots are good too! :thumbsup2

Dessert shots... Care to share a bit more on that? Can you tell i'm in a dessert mood today :lmao:

Does anyone have any experience with the childrens meals?? They sound good but are they "too fancy" for a picky eater?

Dessert shots in Raspberry Cheesecake, Tiramisu, Chocolate Mousse, Key Lime and Creme Brulee

I like the raspberry cheesecake best.

My kids are older now but when they were little they didn't really care for their version of chicken fingers - the pizza and burger were fine though.

My wife loved the Creme Brulee. Great food. Great service. :thumbsup2

I have been to IoA so many times but have never tried mythos. My last trip was 2007 but will be back next month. I've decided we have to try it.

What are portion sizes like? We aren't big eaters at lunch so could we share an appetiser and main or are the portion sizes small enough that we could get something each?

Now I am really going to have a hard time deciding.. I am a picture person for my food so I will take pictures and post them here when we get back.. :goodvibes
