Mythos worth eating at!

I always thought you had to make a reservation to eat in there, however my wife and I ate there this past week, people were walking in without reservations and were only having to wait 20-25 minutes during lunchtime.

However if you want to make reservations at the last minute, and if you have a smart phone, download the "OpenTable" app(it's free), it's very easy to use and you can make reservations with it at a couple restaurants inside Universal and Citywalk.

Awesome!! Thanks so much!! We have 3 days at IOA/US so hopefully we can eat there!! It all sounds amazing. How good are the cheeseburgers as I'm sure that's what my BF will get.

DH had the cheeseburger and it was lovely. He did say he preferred Margaritaville burger but it was close.

It is a lovely place to eat with super food, I`m sure you`ll enjoy it

I think we've been to Mythos about 5 times... and LOVED every time !

The atmosphere is out of this world SUPER!

We ate here last year in June. We loved the atmosphere inside. It's like being in a cave, and it's really cool inside. Great on a very hot day.The food is very good. I think I had the steak, it was very moist and not chewy. We will be eating there next time we go. Hopefully next year 2013.

No staying onsite will not get you preferred seating but having an annual pass will.

My fiance go almost every month. Mythos is great every time.

Cool deal. They always seem to be very accommodating to pass holders and onsite hotel guests.

Just got preferred seating 4 hours ago for lunch as always staying onsite.

Mythos is always great to eat. They also don't rush you in and out. They let you take your time.

Preferred seating is when you show your hotel room key and you'll get next available seating...you shouldn't have to wait a long time for a table. Now obviously this is for table service restaurants in the parks and at CityWalk only. No counter service places have preferred seating.

Do you think Mythos is worth the money? How much time does it take from getting in to leaving? Hubby and I will only be at Universal for 4 days, and I wonder if Mythos is one of the "must eat at" places, if we are really interested in seeing both parks? We don't do big rollercoasters, but we really are going to see WWoHP. Any other suggestions of good places to eat? My hubby is deathly allergic to seafood and fish.

All I can say is Mythos is a MUST DO for us whenever we go to Universal. It hasn't won the best theme park restaurant award many times for no reason!
