I LOVE this show, it's a bit nerdy but I find it so interesting and it's something I can sit down with the kids and watch. I really like how it's "science" but they don't present it in a way where it would be boring for kids to watch and most often than not, my kids end up learning something from it.

Anyone else a fan?

Yep -- we watch it all the time. Thanks for the reminder -- I should set Tivo to record some of the new episodes!

We love it. I love "I reject your reality and substitute my own" at the beginning of each episode.

Great fun for the whole family-poor Buddy!

big fans here too :D I love that they often play them back to back or do marathons. How long has this show been on the air? I sure have seemed to have missed a lot.

We totally love this show - Dh just adores when they blow stuff up .... and they ALWAYS blow stuff up!

They film most of Mythbusters in the Bay Area (where I live), and I love watching the show and recognizing where they are! Dh and I sometimes make a game of "who can figure out where they are first". DH would love to be a Mythbusters groupie and figure out where they are filming and go watch sometime.

LOVE IT. I love how they keep trying things until they can blow stuff up.

If I had the least bit of scientific ability, I'd love to be one of them.

I love love love this show!!! I wish we had cable so we could watch it at home. :(

My kids love this show. Science, humor, and explosions...what more could you ask for?

We love this show too. We use things we learn on the show all the time, especially the one where they cooled down a can of pop/soda and what was the fastest way--the fire extinguisher. For real life applications though, ice water with salt, cooled down a cooler of pop to a nice cold temp in 10 minutes.

LOVE IT!!! The last episode I watched they wanted to find out if a snapped cable could cut a person in half so they used a pig carcass. EWWWWWWWW!

My favorite episode was when they blew up the cement truck. Major explosion!! :rotfl:

And remember......... Don't ever, ever, ever try this stuff at home. We're professionals. :teeth:

Yep, we're huge fans also. :happytv: We're also bonafide nerds. :thumbsup2

We watch a lot at home too. DS is 9, and he LOVES this. Blowing stuff up? COOL. DH tends towards the nerdy in real life, so it's right up his alley as well.

DS toyed with the idea of being Jamie Hynemann for Halloween, but we did not think enough people would 'get it'.

We love this show in our house!!

I struggle to find things for my 8yr old DD to watch, and she really enjoys watching this with us :thumbsup2

Dh and I love this show! DH totally has a crush on Carrie. I think Tory is adorable. Anyone notice that Grant got his teeth fixed (Straightened)?

We ALWAYS use the salt/ice-water route to cool our drinks now. Thanks Mythbusters! It worked spectacularly at our outdoor picnic wedding last year.

I don't have a choice - the Discovery channel is always on in our house. Finally a nice change after too many years of Nickelodeon!

Although my personal favorites are Dirty Jobs and Cash Cab, I'm always up for a good Mythbusters episode.

Recently I loved when Jamie (or Adam? I get the names mixed up) was trying to scale the wall with suction. We were LOL!

Yes, we are BIG fans of this show! The kids are just as intrigued as we parents with all the experiments, explosions, etc. :thumbsup2

Love the show too, but I am a total geek also.

I love the science content, people are actually LEARNING stuff from watching this show too, unlike most TV shows that are popular.

Oh, and Kari is really cute too

DH and I love this show! This is the only show we watch together, and we look forward to new episodes. Thanks to Tivo, we've now seen all the old episodes, so it's exciting when we get a new one.

We love Jamie, because he is just like DH's best friend (in about 15-20 years). He looks like him, talks like him, etc. DH's name is Adam, so it's so funny when Jamie is talking to Adam and it's just like DH's friend is talking to him. His friend is so tired of hearing that though, that we can't bring it up anymore.
