Myrtle Beach Hotels

Can any one recommended a nice one. Looking to go in July and want a nice hotel but, also kid friendly. Trying to stay around 1500 but, have flexibility for more if we need to.

We've visited Myrtle Beach several times when my husband was attending a conference and stayed at Camelot by the Sea, an Oceana Resort. It is right on the beach and designed so that every room has an ocean front balcony. They have 1 to 3 bedroom suites. We've been in a 1 bedroom and a 2 bedroom--both nice layouts with full kitchen. It's a good location, just a few blocks from The Board Walk (Ripley's Aquarium, Wonderworks) and close to most of the highlighted venues--also just 10-ish minutes from both outlet malls. We've only been during the off season (late September/early October) and received conference rates, but I'm on their email list for specials, and the rates seem to be comparable. There are several pools, a lazy river, kiddy pool, hot tub. We've always been pleased with our stays.
