Myrtle Beach golf trip

DH wants me to plan a golf trip for him and his buddies next summer. Has anyone been? Can you recommend a good resort or course? Did you use an agent or other 3rd party? I see there are some sites that help you plan but I haven't really looked at them yet. TIA!

We stayed at the Legend's Resort when we went. They have 3 onsite courses and 2 off site and a great practice facility. We really liked that there were 5 totally different courses to play. We are in the process of planning a golf trip there with DD's golf team for spring break as a matter of fact. We are using a local travel agent mainly because I don't wan't to mess with making everyone's flight arrangements.

I would use a travel agent so they get on the same flights, etc. unless one person wants to book all the flights at one time and have everyone pay him back.

I think they are going to drive actually. It's part of the male bonding of the trip!
