Have any of you Canadians tried to cash out at mypoints through www.giftcertificates.ca recently? Dh and I have been trying to redeem for a movie pass through gc.ca but each time we click on the link, we get the refresh/remove page on their website instead of the actual redeeming page. I've emailed them so I hope to hear from them soon. I'm a little worried about what this could mean.. I'm just wondering if we're the only ones having these problems? Thanks!

CJK, I just redeemed last week thru them. Had no problem. I haven't received the gc yet but didn't have a problem putting thru my transaction. Hope you get it resolved soon.

Thanks Tink! Your post gave me hope! Just a couple hours ago, mypoints membercare wrote back to DH and said that the problem was likely involving our cookies and how both of us use the same computer so we had to exit each of our accounts fully and login again to cash out. It worked like a charm! We both were able to cash out with no problems. Thumbs up to mypoints customer service! Now I just feel sheepish regarding my PC skills!

CJK,

Just to let you know. I received my GC on Friday. It only took a week. I was really surprised.

Update on my gc. Yes, I received it quickly. But....I went to redeem it today ($25 Old Navy GC) and they denied it. Said it wasn't activated. I have emailed giftcertificates.ca about this and I am waiting to hear back. Hopefully this is just an oversite. I will let you know.

I hope you get the problem rectified shortly! I've found gc.ca to be very good for customer service. I look forward to hearing your update.

CJK,

giftcertificates.ca was great. They emailed me right away to say they were working on the problem. Just got another email this a.m. saying they had contacted Old Navy and the card was active. I then called the tel. # on the back of the card to check and sure enough, the money is on the card. I was really pleased with the customer service.

Great news! They are so good there aren't they? Now have fun spending that money! :D
