Have people run into FP+ limits based on your ticket length? Ex: If you have a 5 day ticket, you are prevented from reserving a 6th day of FP+?
 
Having a weird issue with the app, wondering if anyone else has had this problem. On the MDE website my resort, ticket, and dining reservation appear (I have a 9 day MYW package). But on the app, it only shows the resort reservation and dining but no tickets. Just don't want this to mess up the MagicBand testing when it opens for me. I called IT last week and they said it is "a known problem". Did anyone have this happen or get it fixed?

Have we established if this is something that we do need to contact IT to fix?

If you have a 5 days ticket, you won't be allowed to make more than 5 days of FP+ reservation over the course of 14 days (which is how long your tickets are valid without a non expiration option)

I have another issue. I have a 21 days ticket on a 21 nights package, but only can make 14 days worth of FP+ over the course of those 21 days

As for your question, the number of days you can make FP+ reservations for, cannot exceed the number of days on the tickets linked to your MDE account.
If you have a 5 days MYW ticket, and try to make a 6th day of FP+ reservation, you'll get "FastPass+ limit reached" under your avatar on MDE.

If you wish to add a 6th day of FP+ you need to link another 1 day ticket to your account, or extend the 5 days to a 6th.

Can someone clarify something for me! I have FP+ booked for all members of my family, including my DD3. Somehow I ended up getting FP+ for rides that she is unable to ride. I'm in the process now of trying to cancel those few for her now, but am wondering what happens to the rest of us. Can we do a child swap/FP+ at the same time. For instance, can myself and DD14 ride while DH stays with the 3y.o, then DH and DD14 ride with his FP+ and a child swap, or some combination of both. I've never used child swap before, but have a general idea of how it works, just don't know how it works, if it does even work with the new FP+ system. Thanks!

Thanks! Funny you mention this, since I have 20 days worth of tickets linked, but I'm locked at 14 days also! :headache:

Anyone have any ideas on what will happen between the next test ending (Oct 31st?) and full roll-out? Will there be no magic bands for anyone? And no fastpass+? I'm thinking it won't happen until after Thanksgiving, around December 1st. I am staying at CSR mid-November so guessing I will miss out on it all.
 
I will be staying on points at DVC Resort and I will be purchasing tickets through expedia so I will have a voucher and have to pick up my tickets when I get there can I not get a magic band or use fastpass+.

Not sure, but the voucher might allow you to link those tickets online @ MDE (using the voucher #). Mostly it depends on when you will be going - if it will still be in the testing phase or if it will be fully implemented by then. If it's fully running, you should be able to reserve FP+ if you have a linked ticket.
 
I only read a few pages back and didn't see this question. Are they still giving the bonus FP for MK? I tried to get a 4th FP to show up and I can't get it to work. Does anyone know? Also, we are 47 days out.
 
Can you customize your MB, but have it picked up at your hotel? I don't want to have to remember to bring it with me.

I just got a fourth MK FP+ for Thursday Sept 19th. Used fastpicks and it came up (for HM), then changed the attractions I didn't like.
 
I registered my UT tickets with MDE but they only show up as "Ticket" with no details and a message above each one saying "Error: We're sorry. The complete details for this ticket or pass are not available at this time. Please check back soon.". If I click on the "details" icon it just spins and never loads. Should I be concerned? Its been like this for weeks

Call IT. It seems there are a lot of issues with third part tickets.

I called IT and was told it seems to be a display issue, that happens when a ticket is purchased thru a different Disney "engine". Being a computer person myself I beleive what is happening is that the tickets have a slightly different "description" than theirs so the precanned displays don't work. She could clearly see that my tickets were 8 day hoppers with water park so I don't anticipate any problems, just cant see details on my display. She was able to confirm everything in my account looks good.
She also revealed that the intent is that as long as nothing goes wrong with the "testing" they will simply keep adding hotels over the coming months. So hotels that have MB & FP+ in September will continue to have them afterward as wll as more hotels each month.
 
Any ideas - if you are going to two parks in one day, would you make your FP+ for the second park or the first?
