Hello, We're planing a trip from sept 14-20, Staying at POR. Apparently we've been selected to test magicbands and FP+. I was able to customize the bands, make my FP+ selections and even get BOG for lunch. I been seeing that Illuminations is a FP+ option, however when I go to make my selections I don't see it as an option. Any help on how to do it? Thanks!

So in reading all of this I have to ask... with my need to cure my "MB envy" do we move from CBR for our Oct trip to POR?? We've stayed at POFQ before and liked it... thoughts?

For example, I have a 3:05-4:05 Big Thunder Mountain on a Party Night.

I am not getting to the park until 4pm, so if I get back to BTM by 4:20pm will they still let us use the FP+?

It's up to the discretion of the CM, and I wouldn't count on a grace period if I were you. Based upon reports on the DIS, I would guess that the odds of being allowed a grace period are less than 50%.

Come to think of it, maybe the automatic scanners won't even allow it at all....

For what it's worth I found standby lines at the party last year to be minimal. We walked on Space Mountain several times in a row and the same thing with buzz lightyear and a few other rides.

I kept checking my account on MDE. One day the option to reserve fastpass+ was there, and two days later the option to customize magic bands was there, with a note stating that the bands were available to me because of a qualifying reservation. My reservation is for Beach Club, September 3-12, and theses options showed up for me last week.

So we ordered MB on Friday and they are showing shipped to me as of today! We check in at POP on 9/8.

Guess you can DP on regular FP with your KTTWC

Mine from Feb 2012 are working for FP. However paper tickets from the same trip are not giving FP.

You need your magic band confirmation number or ME number to access and make a reservation for lunch.

I tried it this morning, but I have a reservation, so I am not seeing the same page you are. Good luck!

I clicked on this link and we ARE in the system for our dates, but when I click on a particular date to book it, it says each date is not available.

We are also NOT signed up for any FP+ testing as of yet (Poly, Oct. 2013)

I must have missed it, when did people start getting notified that they could test for sept? Watching not so patiently for our oct 4-12 stay. We are at the grand though so I'm afraid we probably won't be included.

Why wouldn't you be included? Are there only certain resorts the testing is occurring in? do you know which ones?

The September test does not include the GF. Only certain resorts. I was just wondering if anyone had a guess of when they might start seeing October test details.

So excited about MB+. This might be interesting since we are resort hopping and have 3 separate reservations and the system has 3 sets of Magic Bands. That's going to be a lot of bands to not mix up. Luckily I'm an organization geek so I can handle it.
