Will we get to have FP+ for our whole stay if we start at POR and then move to renting points at another resort? Or do you think it would be just for POR?

It all depends on how fully rolled out the system is by your December trip. But once the system is rolled out, the bands should work fine for a split stay.

Three Teen Girls and New Years week, it would be great to be able to have three rides a day.
 

Yes it does, but the error message leting me know that none of my tickets fall in that range is superimposed over it with an OK button. The actual calendar buttons are inactive. Once you click on the O.K. button the entire window goes away. I guess I will just wait until I hit the 60 day mark (in 16 days!), do the on-line confirmation and see what happens. I am a real techno-geek so I really want to try these bands, but will have a blast in Disney no matter what!

I had the exact same problem. Then I checked 4 weeks out and I didn't have that problem anymore. Keep checking.
 
Does anyone know how to select BOG for a fastpass+? It does not come up as an option for me to select. When I go directly to the dining options on MDE, and I click on BOG, "select fastpass+ " comes up as an option, but when I click it, it brings me to my main fastpass+ selection options again, and BOG is not on the list. Hope this makes sense to someone!

I tried it this morning, but I have a reservation, so I am not seeing the same page you are. Good luck!

Be careful when customizing Magic Bands. About two days ago I was able to customize them. I changed the color for two people in our party, but didn't know what color every one else wanted. The next day I tried to change the colors for the remaining people and the website/app said my order was being processed and would ship soon! :mad:

I called up Disney and the CM wasn't much help. He told me to wait until our bands came in the mail and then try to change the colors again? :confused3

So great! Thank you, thank you! I just secured my fastpass+ for BOG! It worked! I even chose our menu items! It's not showing up with my original fastpass+ reservations though, so I hope it's OK!!
 
Hello, We're planing a trip from sept 14-20, Staying at POR. Apparently we've been selected to test magicbands and FP+. I was able to customize the bands, make my FP+ selections and even get BOG for lunch. I been seeing that Illuminations is a FP+ option, however when I go to make my selections I don't see it as an option. Any help on how to do it? Thanks!
 
I don't believe you can FP+ a dining reservation.

Only BOG for lunch, so far.

It won't and there is no confirmation number. From what I have read, you just show up at the podium. As a precaution in these trial days, I am printing the screen that shows our ressie time.

People have reported only being able to use FP+ reservations for fireworks shows on the weekends. Could that be why yours isn't working?

My question is. I purchased two annual passes that I will be picking up at will call in October. I also have 2 5 day park hopper passes with five fun visits to water parks that expire in 30 years. I have two days left of theme parks on those tickets but I do not want to use those two days on my October trip. I have already linked my annual passes, If I link my 2 5 day passes also, Will there be a problem. I don't want to enter a park and have one of those days taken off my five day park hopper pass.

Good question! My mom has 2 tickets. One non-park hopper and one park hopper. She would have to use both on her upcoming trip but will not use them both up. They do not plan on doing in park hopping on this trip so if she links them both how can use make sure that the non-park hopper days are used first?

My guess would be that no one really knows the answer to this yet.
 
I have to say that I am both excited and nervous about the potential of being to use this for our Thanksgiving trip. I love the idea of booking our must-dos without having to run to the FP machine with everyone else. I am nervous because we know how to work the current FP system and there seems to be so many unknowns.

I do have a few questions. Here is the scenario: we are traveling with 2 other families. My family and my parents arrive on 11/23 and my sister's family arrives on 11/26. We set up 3 MDE accounts; one for each family and have everything shared.

My 1st problem, is while I can see everyone associated with my sister's account and both my parents, when I go to the website and look at My Reservations, I only see my family's tickets, my sister's ticket and my dad's ticket. I am not seeing my mom, my BIL and niece and nephew's tickets. Since I am going to be the one that will be making the FP+ reservations (if we can for our trip), will I be able to reservations for everyone if I can't see their tickets? How can I get them to show up?

My 2nd problem has to do with the mobile app. When I log in, I can see our packages and dining reservations, but nothing shows up under tickets. Shouldn't the tickets be showing up in the app as well?

My last question (which I'm sure we don't have an answer to yet), since our party has 2 check-in dates, will I be able to start making FP+ reservations for my sister on the day when my window opens up or will I have to wait until her window opens up?
