Never enter personal information (Name, SS#, CC info.) into a website that you click on thru a link. We've all heard about those wonderful eBay and PayPal scammers that can make an email and webpage look like the real thing and then BAM! your account is hijacked.

Enter the URL of the website you would like to visit in your browser and then search thru to get where you want.

I went to myfico.com & pasted the promo code and it worked that way. You are right one should never enter info on a link.

then click on Shop

then down the page aways is a product called Fico Standard
click on that product (normally $15.95) and then the code provided will make it free

I was already a member of MyFico from previous years so I had to log in and then go enter the code.

Just what PP said. It only seems to work with Trans Union though. You have to uncheck Experien & equifax.

I just made it in by the skin of my nose....tried to do my husband and said expired.....
