Mydisneyhouse at Windsor Hills?????

Has anyone stayed in the mydisneyhouse townhouse at Windsor Hills?
I'd like to hear a little about your stay and experience with them.

We've stayed at WH and like it but are curious to see if we can find a better rate than what we've been quoted for the townhouse we've stayed in before. We're going this Christmas for 8 to 10 nts.

I recently learned of Windsor Hills. I am looking at quite a few places there. We are only 3 so even a 1 BR works for us. I am doing quite a bit of research on this property and a few others like Orange Lake Resort.

A quick look on TripAdvisor has some of the highest rated properties and they look amazing (but out of my price range for 3). The first one on the list looks amazing. It is a 6BR unit, 4BA, theater, games, pool. Yes, it is about $400 a night. If you are a group of 2-4 families, that is an incredible option.

The owner wants to talk specifics over the phone instead of giving me a rate quote. This makes me nervous about going forward. I was hoping someone had stayed with this owner in the past.

I have searched and cannot find this specific property. I would not be too worried about talking with the owner.

If an owner can't give you a rate over email I would move on. There are hundreds of owners to work with at Windsor Hills.

This is what my gut is saying. The VIP passes also makes it sound too good to be true.

I'm leery of the VIP passes. Those have been discussed on the board in the past but I don't recall what people said about them.

Anyway, I would move on as well. There are so many options for rentals in WH.

I submitted an inquiry to WH rentals. I got a call about 15 minutes later by an owner that has a 3/3 townhouse and VIP passes. I asked about it and was told it is a pass that can be used each day at the park for all rides with FP and can be used once at each of those attractions. It requires a child, so I think it is the GAC passes (or whatever the replacement is).

We do not know where we are staying our second week at WDW. Looking for the best bang for the buck. 3/3 is too much for our family of 3.
