My wife says I am not romantic please help!

Some of u may know me but those of U that don't probrably know my wife dizneenut she says I am not romantic anymore and I want her to know that I still have some romance left in my heart for her so I wrote her this love Letter / Poem please tell me what you think? oh she will see this letter when you all see it. Oh yeah I Love you dizneenut.

Reflection of My Heart
(A letter to my dearest friend and only true love)

I look back at our lives through times past and only see my love grown at the sight of you…or very thought in my heart. You have made my life the treasure that it is. I may not be rich in worldly possessions but the love we have shared in our life time could not have made my heart any richer than the treasure of your heart in mine. I have felt many things in my life time but only you have filled my world with so much pure joy and passion. Even though the storms of life have shaken the lives we live you are still standing with my heart in your hand as I am holding yours in mine. There is so much I want to say to make you understand or help you believe that I Love you, that without you my heart will fall….. Without you there is no air for me to breathe…………………………………………………… I have searched the digital and physical universe for words to help me explain how or what I feel in my Soul’s heart but when it came to writing words they had none to express so I searched my Love for you and these are the words I found. I pray and hope you never doubt the Love I have for you. I know that in my heart The treasure that people speak of in there lives is the Love I feel for you in mine.

That is a very nice poem to tell her how you feel about her.
I tell my husband that he is not romantic either, but he on the other hand thinks that he is. In my case, I just ask for small little gestures to be done. Maybe from time to time, you could write little notes to your wife to surprise her, have flowers sent to her, make dinner before she comes home, or take her out for the night to do what she likes to do. Remember those days when you were still dating and you wanted to impress her and have her like you, try to have some of those days/nights.
Now, I have to get my husband to understand all these things.

Get some massage oils, if you have kids..find a babysitter, cook her her favorite meal.(again, order out if your not that good at it)...do a candlelight dinner and spend the night massaging and...well, just go with the flow after that!

I guess that this Letter / Poem is a start It is the first I have ever written I am not a writer at all I just tried to write what I felt I love you dizneenut more than you know. I have to say I haven't seen a post of love like this on the DIS before..like declaring your love in front of 68,000 of your beloved's closest friends!

Ooh! Maybe breakfast in bed...I can remember if you guys have a laptop, but if you do you can bring that along so you can show her this and ya better bring some Kleenex, too...you know how teary that wife of yours gets.

But here are a few other suggestions.

Bring home her favorite flower every now and then, not only when you two have a spat.
Actually listen to what she likes and when you need to buy her something, make sure it's what she wants.
A little note left somewhere where she can find it. It can be simple, or it can be sexy, as long as you write it.
Making a special effort to make things easier for her. Especially after a hard day. Believe me, this will be to your benefit in lots of ways.
In arguments, listen to her. You don't have to agree, but listen to her.

That's all I can think of right now.

That is very nice, my DH leaves me notes and gives me notes from time to time throughout the last 21 years. Sometimes he leaves them with flowers so when I wake up I see it there for me to read, sometimes he leaves it in a place that I'll come across it unexpectedly or gives it to me over dinner.
With such a lovely poem as you have written you may want to think of a special way to present it....that's romantic!

Just don't wait so long to do it again! For women, it is the everyday little things that make a difference. Women usually want and need romance. Life would be so much nicer if the romance didn't stop after the wedding! LOL

I agree with my sister friends here, it's the little everyday things that show a woman you care. Just remember her, and the relationship you had before kids and bills and jobs etc came into your lives. Maybe set aside one night a week where the two of you just belong to each other and none of those other things, just time for the two of you and no one or anything else. Go out to dinner and a movie, or take a picnic to a park, or just hang out in the bedroom without the TV on and just talk to each other, just be kids in love once again. Remember that time when you couldn't wait to see each, you couldn't wait to spend time together? Do that again! Remember those days? *sigh*
