My waitlist is striking midnight, what to do?

To the experts and the wannaknows,

My waitlist is getting ready to expire (Jan 7 is the date) on a GV at OKW. My choices after this date are:

1. To see if anything opened up at the last minute, I should call OKW every:
(a) day
(b) hour
(c) half-hour
(d) back-to-back
(e) cell and land line at the same time
(f) get the 'king' to try too

2. If something opens up, OKW staff can access my points to cover everything?

3. I can find the phone number for OKW on either DVC or one of these great homepages?

I would call MS a couple of times each day they are open at this point. The resort usually doesn't get the DVC reseravtion list until a few days before arrival , so I'd still give MS an opportunity for your dates to become available.

The resort number is 1-407-827-7700 . They do have limited access to DVC member accounts for such purposes, but may refer you back to MS at times when it's open. If you want to call the resort Jan. 7, 8 and 9 that should be fine and then try MS again on Monday the 10th.

Hopefully, you also have a backup reservation someplace just in case nothing comes thru with the waitlist.

Thanks Doc.

And yeah, we have reservations in hand, but, we have to move twice.

We start in a GV (1 night), split to a 1br and 2br(1 night), and then back to a GV(4 nights). So, it isn't too bad, but it can be much better.
