To avoid confusion, this post is just about my opinions of what the ride vehicle at Epcot's Nemo attraction should have been like when it first opened.

The following image is my version of the ride vehicle which resembles a mini-submarine I call a Seapod.

The current Clamobile vehicles in my opinion do not truly belong at an Epcot Future World attraction. The theme of Epcot's Future World is about showcasing the future and scientific technology. Since the Clamobiles are neither futuristic or scientific, they would be more suitable at any of the other 3 WDW theme parks or even at Epcot's World Showcase.

With the Seapod submarine, however, it best defines the theme of Epcot's Future World because it is both futuristic and scientific. In addition, it would give the Epcot attraction more sense because it is a vehicle that humans would use in real-life.

See if the had done this and made the queue techy instead of the beach and retained the name TLS I would have no problem with Nemo at all.

However, since you are "going under water" as you move through the cue, it wouldn't make sense to enter a submarine under the water. A clam makes sense.... oh who am I kidding it's a bunch of non-sense.

Since part of the cue is underwater, an idea would be to repaint some of the floor and walls and put up glass windows around the guests to make it look like an undersea terminal for the Seapods.

An alternative could be this: after the beach scene of the cue, the guests walk through unique airlock that once they pass through it, they have the ability to breathe underwater allowing them to reach their Seapods.

Does it have a margarita machine on-board? If so, you got my vote.

A margarita machine sounds neat. It would just need child-proof access to prevent having drunk kids in the park. There are children who are old enough to ride by themselves without an adult.

One additional footnote: I have given the Seapod orange and white colors. These same colors can also be found on a clownfish. So whenever people look at the Seapod's paintwork, it can remind them of the movie's character Nemo and/or his father Marlin.
