We just got back last night. This thread I am posting is mostly for the Queue times i experienced which i was there...

08/11-Drove to Cali. Took us 3 1/2 hours with one gas/food stop from vegas. good time! :p stayed the night in the Hyatt Orange County.

8/12-Took the hotel free shuttle at 7:30am to DLand. One of the first to go thru the gate and headed straight to Nemo. Nemo was over an hr wait already but i'm guessing its from the early entry day. We decided to do space mountain and it was walk on from that point. We did the Tea Cups which were about a 5 min wait. Mr. Toad was a walk on. We headed towards the Matterhorn and it was about 10 mins, we wanted to ride it again (on the other side) but now at that time it was maybe 25 min wait.. Has anyone else noticed the popcorn and the mcdonalds fries are hella addicting? lol...(everything else after this is not in order, we did so much i dont remember which ride we did in order) We got FP for Splash Mtn..when we came back it was about a 5 min wait with that, time was 55 mins for everyone else. Buzz Lightyear was a walk on...Of course the Haunted Mansion and Pirates were walk ons ( we did pirates twice)We did the Jungle Cruise at night (better at night) and it was a walk on...eariler in the day it was about 30 mins ...Winnie the pooh was walk on thru out the whole day.Big Thunder Mtn had a 10 min wait. Went to Space Mtn, wait was 60 mins but we had FP and it was about 15 mins. We did Autotopia stand by (later in the afternoon) and it was about 20 min wait. ( i got the UK style car, OMG was it hard lol)
California Screamin had maybe a 20 min wait, we waited and got fast passes for this ride as well. Swings was always a walk on. We did the swinging ferris wheel at night and it was always a study 20-25 min wait. We never waited for Grizzly. We always had fast passes but the wait always seemed to be around 30-45 mins (w/ FP we waited 10 mins) We did Tower of Terror a couple times, first time standby waited 25 mins, grabbed fast passes every other time, FP wait was 20 mins, standy by was maybe 40 mins. Cali Screamin Stand by when we went was about 30 mins, we did FP which was 10.

We stayed at Disney til 10.

8/13-we were towards the back of the line to get into the park about 745 waiting. We headed straight to nemo and took the short cut thru tomorrowland. Went to the line and it was about a 15-20 min wait so we got lucky..after that we did space mtn, 10 min wait stand by. we were then at the entrance of Froniterland and Adventure land i believe. We were DREAMED!! My DBF and DBROTHER were like what were these so i had to explain (even thou i explained what they were in the beginning of the trip.) I was so excited and it made the day a lot easier for us with all the wait times. Indy was always down in the morning. And everytime it was up it always had the wait for 45-75 mins, so we grabbed FP and when we went back it was about 20 min wait in the FP line. We did Splash twice (both with FP) each time stand by was 60 mins, our wait was about 5 mins. We did buzz lightyear FP again which was a walk on, standby was 15 mins. Later in the afternoon Roger Rabbit was walk on, even thou we used FP lol. Did Space Mtn two more times, each w/ fP wait of 15-20 mins, standby was 45-60 mins. Matterhorn was always crowded, not sure on the wait. Thunder Mtn was lik 30 min wait (FP was 10 min)Star Tours said 10 min wait but it was 20 mins. We did that Indy show, which was mostly for kids, so if your adults going by yourself, its just a waste of time, but if u have kiddies, its cute.

California screamin always had a 30 min + wait, so we FP each time. We rode Mullholland Madness was about a 15 min wait stand by. Tower of terror was 30-45 min wait stand by, 20 mins FP. Soaring over cali was 45 min wait stand by, we used FP which was about a 10 min wait. Grizzly was always a 30-45 min stand by so each time we used FP which was a 5-10 min wait. Its tough to be a bug was a 20 min wait but thats cuz we had to wait for the previous crowd to be done. We did talkin w/ crush which was really cute. its about 820 pm at this time and cali adventures closes at 9. We were done about 840. We had the choice of either fast passing TOT or going to toy story (cuz the wait was crazy, we even went wednesday morning waiting in line to get in at openin and the line for toy storey was already on the bridge,*** ) So we decided at that time to go to Toy story. It was 847 when we got in line and waited almost 30 mins. Ride was cute, but its not worth more than a 30 min wait.

we stayed at Disneyland til 11pm that day.

8/14-Beach day...got sunburnt bad lol...it started to rain on us a lil and was pretty windy but we did get in and it was really cold lol...

8/15-came home, took us 6 hours for a 4 hr trip! bumper to bumper for 60 miles which was killer!!

overall, we had fun. our feet were really swore, and i cant wait for next time. DBF says he hates cali and we will never go back, but little does he know were comin back in may lol...any questions, feel free to ask!

Glad you had a great trip!! Your waits didnt seem bad at all, good for you for utilizing the FP system. Congrats on getting dreamed:cloud9: !! Cant wait for my turn!!

Wow, sounds like such a fun trip!

Thanks for telling us about those wait times; it's really good to know how the lines are acting on a busy day, and FP vs. standby times.

Too bad the traffic was so lousy on the way home!

oh and i forgot to add that we purchased 3 of those so cali summer passes (3 day hoppers for $99) we were never asked for id at Ralphs or even at the park....:p
