Well up until about a week ago I was sick for a while so I wasnt able to sit and write anything to extensive. Anyway, here is the next part of my trip:

Day 6: Wed April 20
Where: MGM
Cast: Me DH, DS 9, DD12, 5 yr twins & DD10

Headed out to MGM a little bit late on this day, but still got there at a reasonable hour for the most part. A soon as we got into the park we headed straight for ToT and RnRC. The three older kids went straight for RNRC first and I got FP for ToT. I chickened out on both of these yet again. I keep telling myself I will try them on the next trip, but I never do. Big Baby!! Anyhow after the kids did both of those we headed down to MuppetVision 3D. The same 5 yr old that had been afraid to go on alot of rides at the other parks just didnt want any part of the muppet thing. I tried convincing her that there was nothing to be afraid of, but I gave up because we would have been standing there all day long LOL. I bowed out since I have seen it many times in the past and DH went with all the rest of the crew. I still really wished that my daughter did it because she just loves Kermit. Oh well. After that we headed down to the Honey I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure. DH went in with kids and I sat at the exit to wait for them. It was funny because this is where I saw the most crying kids. At least 1 out of 4 kids came out of that thing crying because they didnt want to go. Of course my family couldnt be left out of this equation. After about 15 minutes or so, here comes DD5 (same twin I am always writing about lol)
crying her eyes out because she doesnt want to leave. It took a good 5 minutes to get her straightened out again. After the tears were dried we headed up to Star Tours. We ended up doing this a few times. My other 5 yr old twin just loved this one soooo much. I think she could have just stayed on this ride all day and been perfectly happy about it. After we rode that a good few times we headed over to the Little Mermaid. Of course this was a hit with the twins, but my son wasnt thrilled too much by it, and the girls tolerated for the sake of the little ones. By the time we got done with this everyone was really hungry so we grabbed lunch at the ABC Commissary.
The food here is okay but I am not sure that I would be in a hurry to go again. Other than the cheeseburgers and chicken fingers, there wasnt much that appealed to my group here. After lunch we headed down to the BaTB show. The big kids decided they were going to go back on ToT while we were with the little ones at the show, so they got in line and off we went. Except for the fact that the twins love Beauty and the Beast, I would have skipped this one entirely. I have seen it on two other trips and once was enough for me. Naturally, they loved it so I was happy. By the time the show ended the little ones had had enough so we decided to head back to the hotel. We didnt get to do as much as I would have liked on this day, but I am not into driving the little ones into exhaustion for the sake of a few extra attractions. When we left the older kids spent the car ride home talking about ToT and RNRC. DS9 was especially proud of himself because he was afraid to do these the first time and conquered the fear (better than mom). The little ones were asleep before we got out of the parking lot!! So that ends another day at the park with everyone smiling and happy. Can't ask for much more than that!!

Day 7: Thursday April 21
Where: MK 1/2 day
Who: DH, myself, DD!0, DD12, DS9

This day pretty much started at a snails pace. All the kids at this point were in no hurry to go anywhere. Everyone ended up sleeping in on this day until 10am. After everyone started moving we headed to the pool for a few hours. After that my mom kept my 5 yr olds with her and DH and I took the big kids to the MK for the night. My 5 yr olds were content swimming with my mom and she thought it would be nice to take the older ones to the fireworks without worrying about anyone getting tired or cranky. We headed out around 330 and the kids were all excited. A soon as we got to the MK
we headed straight for Splash Mountain. The lines were pretty long so there was a good wait for us. By that time of the day the FP were coming out for 6pm so we just waited in the stand by line. After that we did Pirates a couple of times (this is one of my favorites), then the Haunted Mansion, after that we grabbed a bite at Columbia Harbour House. We all decided we wanted to go back on the Haunted Mansion again after dinner. I could go on this one over and over and I always see something I missed before. When we got done here, we headed into Fantasyland. I thought for sure the kids would want to skip this without the little ones, but to my suprise they wanted to go on Snow White. From Snow White, we hit Dumbo, and the teacups. From there we headed over to ToonTown so the kids could have one last go on Goofy's Barnstormer (DD10 loves this ride so much). My son was itching to go on the Indy speedway so we did that and then headed back over to Adventureland. It was getting pretty quiet over here by this time because Spectro Magic was about to start so the kids had the priveledge of riding Pirates several times with no wait. One of the rides there was only 1 other person on the boat. The kids loved this because they could sing Yo Ho Yo Ho a pirates life for me without getting on anyones nerves, LOL. By the time they had had their fill on Pirates it was time to head back to Main St for Wishes. We went all the way down to the end of Main street near the Entrance and found a spot in the grass on the middle of main street. This was a great place to watch wishes because you get the full view of the castle, and you are close enough to the exit to get out before the big crowds do. This was a great ending to our last night at MK. I dont care how many times I see Wishes, I get all teary-eyed. I dont know what it is exactly but I just love it. Mushy I know. After the fireworks ended we were all a little sad to say good-bye. Even though we know we are going to be back again in a couple of years, we hate leaving!! The kids had a great night. I felt a bit guilty for leaving the little ones behind with my mom, but I know it was nice for the big kids (although they would never say it) to have some fun without some of the crying and mom and dad having to split up on rides the little ones didnt want to go on. When we got back to the hotel the little ones were out like lights and mom said they really could have cared less one way or another where we were, because they swam until 830pm!! LOL. Well my hope for our next adventure is that my twins will be able to stay a bit longer at the parks and that we will all be able to go on more rides together. I laugh now that we are home because the very same twin that was scared to go on so many rides is now bringing up all the rides she didnt get to go on. LOL. Go figure!! It amazes me though because all the kids are still talking about the trip and how much fun they had. Makes it all worth it!! Where else can you go and make those kinds of memories and all have that much fun together. Even DH is now sold and cant wait to go back again!! Well this was a long one, but I wanted to finish up my report. If anyone has any questions dont hesitate to ask!!
