When: April 15-23
Who: DH, Our five kids, Nana, and me

Day 3: Sunday April 17th, this was our one and only day for Epcot.
Everyone but Nana left for the park (she stayed at the pool this day) and got there just in time for opening. First thing we did was head over to Mission Space because my DDs 12 & 10 were just dying to go on that one. While Dh was waiting for the girls to come off MS, I took my DS9 and one of my twins over to Test Track. Other twin daughter had been cranky right from the get go that morning and didnt want to go on TT so she stayed with DH. After TT we headed over to Universe of Energy. In the meantime, my less than happy five yr old announces that she is tired and doesnt want to be there and can she PLEEEAAAASEE go back to the resort to be with Nana. My mom told us before we left if anyone wanted to come back, she had no problems keeping them with her. So DH concedes to this and off they go. The rest of us went into Universe of Energy. After that older kids went back to TT and remaining 5 yr old and I went over to check out some of the flowers and neat topiaries. After about an hour my saintly DH arrived back at Epcot and our journey continued. We went over to The living Seas, then Journey Into the Imagination (one of my all time faves here). After this the tribe was hungry. We headed into World Showcase and the game to decide where to eat began. We ended up settling on Liberty Inn in America because nobody could really aggree on anything. So after lunch I figured we would stroll through the countries and the kids could stop at the funstops and make some neat things and life would be just wonderful. NOT. After lunch my oldest daughter asks " Can we go swimming now mom?' With that three other kids start whooping it up like they have never been in a pool before. DH looked at me and laughed. So ended our day at EPCOT. We went back and my oh so cranky five yr old was in her glory swimming in the pool. LOL, go figure. So needless to say, I will have to take my stroll through the countries on our next visit, maybe without the kiddies!! LOL

Day 4: This day found everybody in our tribe happy and looking forward to The Animal Kingdom. We informed dear 5 yr old that she had to decide before we left what she wanted to do, because dad wasnt going to leave the park this time. She went and had a ball. I have to say the first time we went here was in 98 and I wasnt too impressed. This time however, we all had fun and stayed until the park closed. We headed over to Kilimanjaro Safari first thing and all the kids loved that, especially my 5 yr olds. After that we headed to Rafiki's Planet Watch and spent a while there. The big hit here was the talking trash can in Conservation Station. My son walked over to throw something away and the can commented on his Patriots hat. The look on his face was priceless. Next thing ya know all five of them were over there "talking trash" with the can. They are all still talking about this encounter. Well after that we headed over to Dinoland where we spent most of our time that day. The little ones loved the Boneyard and played there for over an hour. All the rides here were a big hit, and the kids decided besides Kali River rapids, this was there fave place in the park. Dinosaur was a huge hit with the older kids and I have to say that I love that too!! The kids really had fun here and loved seeing all the animals. We will definately be going back here on our next trip. So this day ended with everyone happy and ready for the next day which would be back at the Magic Kingdom again!!
Thanks for listening everyone and I will report some more soon!!

it is soooooo hard to please EVERYONE all the time. Putting it up front like you did for AK was the way to go. We took two teens and we still think that we all had a blast. They loved pretty much all of the parks but loved absolutely loved AK and the animals. thanks so much for your report

Soooo funny about your little one wanting to go back to the pool. My DS(5) is notorious for planning a big trip to the Mall of America and going on his one and only favorite ride and then saying " thanks mom...we can go home now and watch Scooby Doo!!" :rotfl:

LOL, my little ones were like this pretty much through the whole trip. One of my twins asked me if we were going on vacation next april, when I told her no, she said "good can we get a pool then?" Kids are funny, sometimes it is the littlest things that please them.
